This privacy policy informs you about how we collect, process, and use personal data on shopclarvo.com. We treat your data confidentially and in accordance with the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

3. Data collected when visiting our website

When you visit our website, technically necessary data is temporarily stored: IP address, date and time, requested URL, transferred data volume, browser type and version, operating system, referrer. This data is necessary to display the page (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and is automatically deleted after a maximum of 7 days.

4. Cookies

We use technically necessary cookies (session, cart status, cookie consent). These are set without consent as they are essential for the operation of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

We only set optional cookies (e.g. for analytics or marketing) with your explicit consent via the cookie banner (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time via the corresponding link in the footer.

5. Orders

When you place an order, we process the following data:

• First and last name
• Billing and shipping address
• Email address, phone number (optional)
• Order items, order number, order date
• Payment information (via our payment processor Stripe)

The legal basis is contract performance (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The data is stored for the duration of the statutory retention obligation (10 years for invoice data under HGB/AO).

6. Payment processing (Stripe)

We use Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland for payment processing. Stripe receives the data necessary for payment (name, address, payment method information). Stripe has its own privacy policy: https://stripe.com/de/privacy.

7. Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we process your email address and the date of signup to occasionally send you product news and tips. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email.

8. Contact form

When you write to us via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email, topic, message) to handle your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted after handling unless statutory retention obligations apply.

9. Self-hosting of fonts

We load fonts exclusively from our own servers and do not use external font CDNs. There is therefore no transmission of your IP address to third parties (e.g. Google Fonts).
